Terms of Service

By accessing and using Tutor Hub ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including students, tutors, and administrators. Additional terms may apply to specific features or services.

To use Tutor Hub, you must: • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if between 13-17 years old • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement • Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws • Provide accurate and complete registration information Tutors must additionally meet our verification requirements and maintain valid credentials for their teaching subjects.

Account Responsibilities: • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach • You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Tutor Hub provides: • A marketplace connecting students with tutors • Communication tools including messaging and video calls • Scheduling and calendar management • Payment processing services • Review and rating systems We do not directly provide tutoring services. Tutors are independent contractors responsible for their own teaching methods and materials.

Tutors agree to: • Provide accurate information about their qualifications and experience • Maintain professional conduct during all interactions • Deliver lessons as scheduled or provide adequate notice for cancellations • Respect student privacy and confidentiality • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations • Not engage in any form of discrimination or harassment Tutors are responsible for reporting their earnings and paying applicable taxes.

Students agree to: • Provide accurate personal information • Attend scheduled lessons on time • Treat tutors with respect and professionalism • Make timely payments for booked lessons • Comply with cancellation policies • Not record lessons without tutor consent

Payment Terms: • All prices are displayed in the applicable currency • Payment is required at the time of booking • Tutors set their own rates; Tutor Hub charges a service fee • Payments are processed securely through Stripe • Tutor payouts are processed weekly Refund Policy: • Cancellations made 24+ hours before a lesson receive a full refund • Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to review • Refund requests for completed lessons are evaluated case-by-case

Platform Content: The Tutor Hub platform, including all software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Tutor Hub and protected by intellectual property laws. User Content: • You retain ownership of content you create • By posting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it on the Platform • Tutors retain rights to their teaching materials You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission.

You may not: • Violate any laws or third-party rights • Post false, misleading, or harmful content • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others • Attempt to circumvent Platform fees or payment systems • Use automated systems to access the Platform without permission • Interfere with Platform operations or security • Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity • Share others' personal information without consent

To the maximum extent permitted by law: • Tutor Hub is provided "as is" without warranties • We are not liable for user-generated content or tutor services • We are not responsible for technical failures or data loss • Our total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months We do not guarantee specific outcomes from tutoring services.

For disputes between users: • Contact our support team for mediation assistance • We may review evidence and make determinations regarding refunds • Our decisions are final regarding Platform-related disputes For disputes with Tutor Hub: • Contact us first to attempt resolution • Failing resolution, disputes will be resolved through arbitration • These Terms are governed by applicable law in our jurisdiction

Account Termination: • You may terminate your account at any time through settings • We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations • Upon termination, you lose access to Platform features • Certain obligations survive termination, including payment obligations Outstanding lessons and payments will be handled according to our policies.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Last Updated: January 2026
